Bindi Booth

Geisha Girls print from the 'Home Craft' series by Bindi Booth

Feather Stitch Home Craft print - last November this gorgeous print featured as a pull-out poster in Frankie Magazine.

Melbourne illustrator Bindi Booth has more than just a particularly gorgeous name. She also has a some seriously gorgeous work to her name, and at the tender age of 25 has worked for some fantastic companies well known for their design aesthetic, including Peter Alexander, Billabong and Paul Frank.

Recently you might have seen Bindi's work in Curvy 5 - the annual all-girl art/design book produced by Yen Mag, or perhaps in Frankie magazine... or you might have spotted her work on the walls at Outre Gallery in Melbourne.

Bindi says her creative inspiration comes from the many hours she spent visiting antique stores in country towns around Australia in her childhood, which formed the basis of her love of all things printed, vintage and collectible. When she's not roaming around flea markets or visiting the countryside, Bindi spends her time dreaming up new designs incorporating all things cute, girly and nostalgic... 'I'm very fond of yesteryear' she says!

The gorgeous prints here are for sale on Bindi's website. For more examples of her work, check out Bindi's Myspace page.
