Megan Morton's brilliant shots from her coverage of last year's Salone del Mobile... could I be more excited!??I may have neglected to mention that I am off to Milan today! (Actually I hopped on a plane late last night, and all going well I am probably about halfway there by now!) I am so excited to be attending the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (Milan International Furniture Fair) for the very first time... it has always been a big dream to get there and this year is finally the year!
So for the next 10 days The Design Files will be all about Milan - with lots of news and pics from the Salone and the Zona Tortona satellite design events, an interview with a wonderful Milan-based illustrator/designer later in the week, and tomorrow I also have a super gorgeous Milanese apartment to share... stay tuned - I think it might get a little crazy around here! (There'll also be the odd Melbourne post thrown in to keep everyone happy!).
I anticipate taking about 1000 photos a day (seriously!) - so I will also be posting images to Flickr so I don't fill up all your inboxes! (Nothing there yet - but please pop over as the week progresses!)
