Melbourne-based boutique design studio Salmon Design have some fantastic work on their website. From identity to CD covers and large-scale illustrated murals, designer Pete Salmon-Lomas seems just as adept with pen and ink as he is on a Mac. I love his wall drawings for Melbourne coffee chain Cafenatics... super awesome.
In addition to running his studio with project manager Kate Russell, Pete also lectures at Swinburne Uni.... and apparently his students are avid readers of The Design Files...!?
Well.... we shall see if any of them leave a comment about their talented lecturer's work!

The more personal photos and friendly tone of the Salmon website is so endearing! This is their workspace in Flemington...
...and what a lovely touch to include a few local photos on their folio website! These guys clearly really love their eclectic surroundings in Melbourne's inner North!
particularly loving the VERY Lucy usage of the wording "super awesome"! - This site is indeed, continuing to be, just that!!
