Cannot get enough of this glassware and crockery!Did you know the Sydney Design Festival has just started...? I was a little too early to see much of what is going on (check out the full line-up here Sydney-siders!), but I did manage to pop in to see Eat Green Design at the Powerhouse Museum on Tuesday, and it looked so fantastic! If you're in Sydney for the next week or so you must try and check it out!
Eat Green Design is such a fantastic, unique concept - it's a sustainable temporary space which will host breakfast and dinner events over the course of the design festival, acting as a kind of catered think-tank for sustainable thinking and discussion! Guests speakers will include inspiring eco-aware designers such as Julie Paterson and Liane Rossler... and the delicious menu has been put together by Sydney's well-known eatery Danks st Depot. YUM!
Eat Green Design's crockery, cutlery, furniture and all design details utilise eco-friendly design practices and recycled materials. I LOVE the crockery so much! I would visit for this reason alone!

ReplyDeleteThe other side of the globe seems like such a magical place anyway to me, but this is really beautiful. Not only do I totally want those lights in my house, I love the idea of the space's purpose. Is blogging about things your only job because it seems you are always out and about?
