Things you can buy from Collection of Cool - Music Balloon iphone speaker, Living Factory melamine retro spoons, Takumi TOKA Clock, Rob Brandt Jailhouse Ceramic Cups, and the very sexy Otto Espresso machine (sorry, insanely expensive but too beautiful not to include!)Collection of Cool is a new Australian online store which seems to have no particular niche except general coolness. Hey, I'm not gonna argue with that - seems to work pretty well for Coolhunting.
The site is run by Sydney sisters Anthea and Cass Somas, who certainly seem to have pretty great taste. Collection of Cool stocks a diverse but carefully edited range of pieces for the home, jewellery and accessories, stationery, kid's stuff and gadgets. One good thing is the equal emphasis on gifts for men and for women - Collection of Cool gets the balance just right with a good selection of techy gadgets, manly wallet-type things and, ahem, my favourite re-usable BYO Coffee Cups(!!) for the caffeine-loving man in your life...
